The agriculture and food sectors are intrinsically linked, forming a symbiotic relationship that spans the entire food supply chain. Together, they address global challenges in food security, sustainability, and resilience. Our AgriFood Landscape Map illustrates how these sectors overlap, showcasing shared categories and dual-sector players and emphasizing the collective innovation happening within.

Multinationals and investors are increasingly engaging across both sectors to address interconnected problems. Their efforts focus on fostering technologies that can improve agricultural productivity upstream and ensure sustainable food production and distribution downstream. Recognizing this dynamic interplay, the agrifood value chain emphasizes the importance of engaging with early-stage innovations in upstream categories to create meaningful impacts downstream.

“Faced with scarce resources, Israeli entrepreneurs have excelled in transforming challenges into opportunities, pioneering agri-food tech innovations that are reshaping global possibilities. Recent geopolitical developments, unfolding at lightning speed, underscore the critical importance of ensuring global food security while addressing the urgent need for climate resilience.”
